EQUUS by Peter Shaffer

ACTOR'S CHOICE, in conjunction with Bunbury Theatre, presents Peter Shaffer's Tony Award-winning play EQUUS, July 28-30 and August 3-6 at 7:30 p.m.; July 31 and August 7 at 2:00 p.m.  Performances are in the Bunbury Theatre, 604 South Third Street, 3rd Floor, Henry Clay Building, Louisville, KY.  Tickets are available only by phone: (502) 583-8222  (MasterCard, Visa and Discover).  Early reservations are suggested -- seating is limited to 144 persons per performance.

EQUUS, in the most exciting theatrical terms, tells the story of a 17-year-old English boy (Drew Cash) who has performed violent acts because of his pathological fascination with horses.  A child psychiatrist (Roger Fristoe) attempts to unravel the mystery of Alan's tortured soul while confronting his own demons.  The production is directed by Mike Seely and also features Jennifer Thompson, Jamie Lentz, Tom Pettey, Claire Sherman, Alan Weller and Tim Kitchen.
