Bunbury Young Artist Production Lab 2026

This year’s Bunbury Young Artist Production Lab is an immersive, collaborative workshop where participants explore storytelling, acting, music, dance, and design to create an original showcase.

During our week-long process, our theatre laboratory became an environment for exploration, discovery, skill-building, and play. Major theatre pedagogies and protocols were used to probe, develop, and produce material that is meaningful, authentic, and specific to the student.

This format provided each participant with individualized coaching, creative exploration, and opportunities for solo/ensemble performance.

Please join us for our culminating event on Saturday, July 18 at 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. at the Henry Clay, 604 South Third Street. This event is free with open seating. The lab showcase will consist of three ensemble pieces that provide stylistic contrasts. Before, after, or between these ensemble pieces, our young artists will present solo songs and monologues, joined together by thematic threads found in the spoken and sung text.

Our guiding idea is that art moves from chaos to order through our choices, our connection, our curiosity, our passion, and our truth.

Join us for this unique event presented by a talented and dedicated group of young artists: Koko Alice Broyles, Amelia Cook, Zeke Dennis, Landon Dodrill, Ava Medley, Billie Price, Charles Riley, Zephyr Sohi, Gordon Thomas, and Tony Wright.
